Earth has been overrun by monsters; the surviving cities are walled fortresses that train Warriors out of teenagers. Luo Feng is one of those teenagers — top in his city, broke, raising a family — and a relic from a vanished cosmic civilisation picks him on a Tuesday. The relic is not a tool.
